About the event
No matter your mode of camping we invite you to join with us for a great weekend.
Please register - RSVP Site is suitable for up to 20 camping units.
Somethings to do while you are in the area:
- Visitors would be welcome to take the 30 minute walk over the hill to the beach. This passes through the neighbours place but they are very welcoming and happy to allow campers to walk through to their driveway and down to the beach. The walk back is all up hill but for those that don’t want this challenge we can arrange some vehicles to pick you up at the beach.
- Also a good walk to Onekawa Pa from the beach.
- For those keen on mountain biking the Motu Trails are only a 20 minute drive away.
- And there is an easier, gentle ride along the beach from the Waiotahe Pipi beds (5 mins away) for those that want to take it easy but also a nice walk.
- Then there is the Tirohanga bike trail as well which starts from Opotiki township.
- With a Homeopathy studio and orchard on site there is always more to explore.
Possible club activities:
Friday or Saturday night (depending on when most are arriving) we could have soup and buns meet and greet. Depending on numbers attending and the weather we could do this at our house or set up in the camp area with a campfire maybe.
Saturday and Sunday folk can do what they like in and around the area. We have a cub set if anyone wants to play and others may have lawn games that we can set up as well.
Sunday night pot luck dinner.
Toilets and fresh water available on site. Pack in - Pack out your waste.
This is a working property with free ranging animals. Dogs are only permitted on leads at all times and children must be supervised.
