Sited in the attractive domain gardens, there are many trees for shelter and picnic tables. Sturdy clean toilets and metered showers (two 50c coins) are available, all recently painted. A basic kitchen, dining and lounge area has a stove, hot water, fridge/freezer and auto washing machine, all recently upgraded due to snow damage. A dump point is available, and an adventure tower and tennis courts are nearby. A great place to relax or enjoy the Mt. Somers walkway, explore the historic coalmines, fish, swim or water ski in the nearby lakes, or have a drink at the pub across the road. The friendly off site caretaker is Wendy Cullen. Powered sites are $29, non-powered $24 per night (same prices for tent sites). Price is for the site, not per person.
