About the event
TECT Park offers a number of walks and bike rides along with other sporting events on. The Waikato 4 x 4 club event is on at this venue on Sunday. Facilities on site include a Kiwi Camp with showers etc, require a Kiwi cash token.
There is a $10 koha for the weekend. A KiwiCamp Facility is located in the main Freedom Camping area by the Arrival Centre, on Whataroa Road. Digital keys to access showers and cooking facilities can be purchased from Council Offices and other local retailers. Access to the public toilets is free. Please note that keys are not available at TECT Park and need to be purchased BEFORE arrival. Please see the KiwiCamp website for further information.
