Viking Odyssey

Come and celebrate Norway Day in Norsewood Weekend of 18th & 19th May 2024 We are staying at Mathews Park, 28 Ngamoko Road, Upper Norsewood, for our camping area and welcome all campers, dogs MUST be on leads at all times as there are farms surrounding the park and we shouldn’t have to add clean up after them. Onsite are toilets and a basic kitchen area is available as well as the hall space, water is tank water and limited supply so come with water tanks full, nearest Dumpstation is Dannevirke or Waipukarau. Gravel parking and grass for tenters, $5 per camper vehicle per night, all money goes back in to keeping the facility going, so donations accepted, the park committie and Norsewood Community are wanting to build a replica Viking Longhouse on the site they now need donations.
